Drury PGM Property - Wallbridge Joint Venture
Property Profile
- The Drury Property is located 40 km west of the city of Sudbury, Ontario and covers 26 mining claim units. The property is adjacent to claims controlled by Inco Limited. Mustang can earn 50% interest in the property by spending $500,000 on the property over 4 years at which time a 50/50 joint venture with Wallbridge will be formed.
- The Drury Property is located in the footwall rocks along the southwest side of the Sudbury Igneous Complex. The property hosts part of the Drury intrusion which consists of gabbroic to anorthositic layers which in turn are cut by Sudbury breccia.
- Exploration will concentrate on "contact style" primary PGM-Cu-Ni mineralization along the margin of the intrusion (similar to recently discovered mineralization in the East Bull Lake and River Valley intrusions). An additional target is primary Ni-Cu-PGM mineralization in the footwall breccia which is the style of mineralization found in footwall rocks elsewhere in the Sudbury Igneous Complex.
Exploration to Date by Mustang
Mustang will fund and operate an initial program of geological mapping, sampling and ground geophysics. Wallbridge will contribute its technical assistance to the program including its expertise in mapping footwall for prospective polymetallic mineralization. To date Mustang has completed 28.2 line kilometers of linecutting and magnetometer surveys and commenced geological mapping on the property. A induced polarization geophysical study is scheduled to be completed this winter on the property.
A follow-up program of ground geophysics over additional areas of interest towards the interior of the intrusion will be completed during the winter months.
